Exhibition Tours! Armory Week
Long Island City's iconic Clock Tower building has been transformed by No Longer Empty into their 14th exhibition 'How Much Do I Owe You?'. Featuring works in a variety of media by artists from 15 different countries, the show is an international and conversational look at the state of exchange in our new post-recessional economy. From participatory works that ask you to value your social debt, to a video piece that looks at the long and fraught relationship between art and money, the exhibition delves into the various iterations of currency and exchange. The former bank building's vaults and lock boxes have been revitalized into a compelling and engaging exhibition.
