Made in LIC: Urban Factory Scavengerhunt and Tour

Join No Longer Empty and Vertical Urban Factory for a scavenger hunt that will lead you through the industrial past and modern manufacturing present of Long Island City, Queens. Learn observe New York City's unique industrial landscape that is telling how cities can change over time.

Hunt alone or as a team. Beginning at 11am, come to the exhibition site to register and pick up the clue sheet. With a coffee in hand, be quick to decipher each of the clues and photograph the answer to earn points. Photograph either by Instragram or Facebook - tagging @nolongerempty.

At the hunt's end, enjoy a drink with your fellow scavengers at the closing reception starting at 5:00pm. Participants will have the opportunity to view the exhibition during the reception, and hear a few words from Vertical Urban Factory's Nina Rappaport on the changing landscape of Queens.
