With roots in bebop but incorporating the sound and soul of the Rhythm & Blues and Afrobeat, Il Collettivo has created music that defies easy categorization but is swinging, tuneful, and compelling. A highlight of Il Collettivo's live set, "Nonosi" has been known to turn previously indifferent audience members into shouting, dancing, clapping enthusiasts.
