Opening Reception: If You Build It

"If You Build It" exhibition and programs applauds the initiative to not only house, but to house with dignity, and through access to art and education, bring people into dialogue.

Celebrate the coming together of "If You Build It" and the artists' thoughtful interpretations of site- be it the building, the concept of home, the history of Sugar Hill or today's present day community.   


Opening Reception: 7-9pm

Welcoming remarks: 8pm 

Opening reception is sponsored by Harlem Brewery and with sweet music performances by  the Jazz Foundation All Stars,  local musicians Joey Morant on trumpet, Michael Max Fleming on bass, Mitch Margold on piano, and Greg Bandy, aka "the mayor of Harlem", on drums.
