No Longer Bored Family Day: Building Our Future

Saturday, July 18 2015
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Families are invited to explore and search for architectural features of the Old Bronx Borough Courthouse through hands-on block-building activities and a scavenger hunt. Hosted in collaboration with the Fine Arts Federation of New York.

No Longer Bored is a program designed for children and families to discover and explore No Longer Empty´s art exhibition through activities centered on inquiry, reflection, creativity and participation. We want children and families to explore the exhibition and develop an appreciation for art together.

The Fine Arts Federation of New York was established in 1895 as a unique advocate for design excellence in New York City and beyond. The Federation is comprised of member organizations of diverse constituencies with professional expertise in public art, architecture, landscape architecture, planning, urban design, and open space in New York City. Today, the organization is the only alliance of its kind acting on behalf of the city’s art and design professions in support of a well-designed public realm.
