Participants are invited to No Longer Empty´s exhibition to learn about how to apply photography skills into their daily lives. Photography themes will be based on our exhibition How Much Do I Owe You?. Each session artists will have the opportunity to practice and build upon their photography and DJ skills while building lasting friendships.

REGISTRATION: Registration is limited to 6 families. *When you register for this course, you are registering for all 4 weeks: Parent/Guardian and Child. When registering, please provide the following information:

ABOUT THE TEACHING ARTIST: Teaching Artist, Sol Aramendi is an art educator at the Queens Museum of Art. She believes in art teaching as a tool that connects people with the community, opening a dialogue of understanding and social strength, as well as a vehicle to help explore identity issues.

Sol Aramendi will be working with ArtAccess Educator Jennifer Candiano, trained in supporting people with special needs through art. ArtAccess is an award winning program of the Queens Museum of Art dedicated to visitors with special needs. This course will have Spanish Language and Autism supports. Parent & Child will be paired to explore the activities together. Equipment will be provided through the Queens Museum of Art’s Education Department.
