Tour the Bronx: Boogie Down Rides

Tuesday, May 01 2012 - Thursday, May 31 2012

Boogie Down Rides comes together to brainstorm and execute grass-roots initiatives for Biking in the Bronx.  A series of educational events, community-visioning sessions, and group rides will be organized as a way to increase awareness of cycling as a mode of transportation and recreation, promote safe bicycling, and bridge existing efforts to expand cycling in the Bronx.

This project is spearheaded by exhibition artists Elizabeth Hamby and Hatuey Ramos-Fermín and NLE's Neighborhood Initiative team.

There are a number of different events taking place, from advocating for Summer Streets on the Grand Concourse to leisurely weekend rides/tours of the Bronx. Check out boogiedownrides.tumblr.com
