Manolo Ampudia

Manolo Ampudia’s social design project for ART ZONE CG-91 will involve mapping activities with the Community Art & Data Lab participants and members of the hospital and neighborhood communities. Check back for updates!

Manolo Ampudia is a multidisciplinary designer based in New York City, with an expertise in human-centered design, strategic planning, product design, data visualization and digital/print design. He is a recent graduate of the Design for Social Innovation MFA program at the School of Visual Arts, where he developed an expertise in using design to understand and tackle complex social problems. Manolo currently co-teaches the course Design for Good in the BFA Fine Arts Department at the School of Visual Arts. He also serves as an advisory board member for the Institute for Public Architecture in New York, where he helps curate programs and design communication strategies. Manolo is co-founder of the sustainable design studio Suhab in Mexico City.
