Compiled from an earlier video installation of YouTube video diaries and reformatted into a film for wider distribution in the wake of the 2016 U.S. presidential election, Now he's out in public and everyone can see documents how digital platforms have transformed and amplified political speech, opinion-mongering and racism during the Obama years. Based on their assumptions about race, speakers, from the comfort of their own homes and personal devices, present “the facts” on the character of black celebrities, athletes, entertainers and politicians.
