Weaving In & Out
Merge at the Triboro Bridge (2010)
Merge at the Triboro Bridge, is formed through complex interrelated processes. Beginning with an initial photographic sourcing of the bridges which connect the area of East Harlem with outer boroughs of New York, the images are produced by drawing on multiple layers of transparent paper, and then compressing the images between glass to produce a photographic negative. In the spirit of the bridge itself, Merge at the Triboro Bridge brings together diverse media and artistic techniques to create a dynamic yet subtle effect.
