Marinella Senatore’s film, “Variations,” draws on local residents and curious characters of the Lower East Side for its subject matter, creative direction and acting. In four episodes, each of which elaborates on the theme of the neighborhood from a different perspective, the film documents both its own filmmaking process and a series of fictional stories about the neighborhood.

The screening will be followed by a question and answer session.
