While it may be hard to choose a favorite, there is one piece that has an extra special story behind it, Headstart (Morning), 2012, created by Bronx artist John Ahearn for our landmark exhibition “This Side of Paradise.” Ahearn collaborated with the children at the local Headstart program, housed in the ground floor of the Andrew Freedman Home, and The Bronx Children´s Museum. He combined plaster casts of the children’s hands to create a circular sculpture that represents the community within the building. Don’t miss out on this unique chance to own a beautiful
sculpture deeply engrained to the history of No Longer Empty, the Andrew
Freedman Home, and the children of the Bronx.

Participating artists include:
Sol Aramendi / John Ahearn / Raul Ayala / Rita Barros / Erica Baum
