Education Internship Description:

Working alongside the Education Programs Manager, the education intern will support our new program, the Youth Action Council. The intern will communicate with teachers, families, and community organizers; coordinate tours and visits for site visits; facilitate art-making workshops and activities; and support documentation, data entry and reporting on programs.

Responsibilities will include:

● Assisting with documentation and data entry

● Supporting curriculum development

● Generating education program reports and Key Performance Indicators

● Assisting in the development of grant reports

● Producing social media content for our youth programs

● Helping plan and execute an alumni event


● Great time management skills

● Strong communication skills

● Exceptional writing skills

● Comfort with Microsoft Word, Excel and G-Suite

● Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

● Interest or previous experience in arts education preferred

Time Commitment:

August 24 – December 18 2018; 2-3 days per week, 16 hours a week

$2,500 stipend
