The WorkRoom (formerly No Longer Bored) is an afternoon art-making workshop series designed for children, families and community elders to discover and explore NLE art exhibitions though activities centered on inquiry, reflection, participation and creative interpretations of accessible art.

Together they explore our model of community-responsive exhibitions through guidance from artists, teen docents/curators and educators. The WorkRoom also presents various experiential components from interpretive materials and scavenger hunts to zines and neighborhood guides that foster public art and community appreciation. To date, WorkRoom activities have included 25 workshops with 30 local and visiting artists, reaching 705 children and their families, many of whom live within walking distance from our exhibition sites. Special access accommodations are made for visitors, following our inclusion model enabling access for participants of all abilities.
